Are you an audio book reader? Do you consider listening to a book reading? I have been an audio book participant for many years back with cassettes then CDs and now iPad. I love the activity though it is not for everyone.
Although there are different platforms, I use Amazon’s Audible right now. What do you use?
Here are some of the places I read my audio books:
- Car
- Exercising
- Cooking
- Walking
- Road trips
- Screen time (scrolling)
- Vacation
- Airplane
- Housecleaning
I love reading series on audio books. I put them in my Wish List and anticipate the next in order. I add them to my Goodreads reading list too. Rarely do I listen to over two a month, except if I have a road trip. I tend to pick the longer ones.
It is worth the expense to me to be able to multi task throughout my week.
So, my question again. Audio books—Yay or Nay?
Yay! I love to be able to listen to my book when I can’t sit down and read. Cleaning house, driving…
Absolutely, yay!! I’ve been listening to them since the beginning. It was so exciting—I could ‘read’ a book while I cross stitched or cleaned, etc., etc. I always have one going and listen at a faster speed. I usually use Hoopla or Libby apps thru the library.
A big Yes to listening to audio books. I listen on You Tube. When I have one of my really bad headaches and can’t read, I can still listen to them. It helps me to relax.
Nay. I’m a sight person therefore I need to read it for myself.
Blessings,
Lucy
