A new month, a new season, and new books to read! What could be better in the cooler weather? Well, it might or might not be cooler in Louisiana in September.
What are you looking forward to reading?
Here are four of mine that have made it to the top of the stack.
Secrets of the Revolution by Megan Soja offers Patriot spies and the fight for liberty. This is an appropriate theme as we face the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence in 2026.
Another historical fiction by Laura Frantz, The Rose and the Thistle, takes the reader to 1715 England and Scotland as loyalties are challenged. Trust is hard to find in this volatile period.
The Maid of Ballymacool by Jennifer Deibel brings romance and mystery to Ireland. Drawn to each other from different classes, Brianna and Michael set out to find some answers to secrets around Ballymacool.
Jaime Jo Wright writes a chilling dual-time novel, The Vanishing at Castle Moreau, bringing 1870 and the present together to solve the legend and curse. I will read this one during the daylight for sure.
