Hallelujah!

IMG_4132Happy Easter, everyone! We have a lot to celebrate, even in these uncertain times. God is still in control. He is still on the throne. That is enough to make me celebrate every day.

IMG_4352As the angel said at the tomb two thousand years ago, “I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead, just as he said would happen. Come, see where his body was lying. And now, go quickly and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead.” Matthew 28:5-7

My household will be focusing on our Savior, His sacrifice and Resurrection, this weekend. On Good Friday,  we will read and meditate on the stages of the cross while reading a guide my father made called The Way of the Cross with original drawings of the suffering, death, and resurrection of our savior Jesus Christ. The text is from The Book of Occasional Services.

We’ll join corporately online with our church family on Easter Sunday, joining in praise, prayer, and proclamation.

Hallelujah, He is Risen. And He still reigns.

Happy Easter. Great post. What are you doing for Easter since you’re lock downed? May God Bless You.

Thank you Marguerite. We too will be celebrating the resurrection of our Lord this Sunday. A different kind of Easter than what we are used to but will be even more relevant as we depend wholly on Him.

    Take care and be safe.

    Love you, Glo

How beautiful! This post makes me smile. What wonderful ways to celebrate this important season. I would love to see the prayer book that Papa made, when I can visit you next. Blessings!
