I almost let April slip away without a giveaway. But have no fear, I found the time to add one.
I loved Permelia Cottage by Carole Lehr Johnson. Travel to England and enjoy the quaint village with some unique characters, good food, and secrets.
I’m giving away a copy of Hold Me Close to start a lucky winner on the Revolutionary Faith Series. Join the characters in Charles Town, SC in 1772-73.
Make a comment here for your chance to win one of the two books. Comment by the end of April 25!
What setting in a novel is one of your favorites? England, US, France, an island, etc?
Mountains anywhere in the world.
I love all sorts of historical settings. England and Colonial America are among my favorites.
I enjoy all historical settings but my heart belongs to America first and foremost. I particularly like The Revolutionary War period and the the Civil War period.
I love lots of settings! England and Ireland are some of my favorites. India too… Italy! And the mountains, love that too! Thanks for the chance!
I can tell just by the cover pictures, these are books I want to read. I think I would say England is my favorite setting for a novel. When reading historical novel’s I love to read about the castles, different types of food they have for tea, and the countryside. That being said, however, I love reading about different places as I almost feel like I can travel through the book and learn about each new place along with the characters in the novel.
I enjoy any historical setting as I find it fascinating. Thank you for sharing.
France with country side a close second
Scotland!!
Elly, you are the winner of Permelia Cottage! Please email me your physical address: margueriteg at att.net.
I love to experience them all through the stories <3
My favorite would be an island.
I love all places that books take place.
I am not sure that I can chose one. I love how an author ties the location into the story. Thank you for sharing your time and your talent. God bless you.
An island please!
Both books look like fantastic reads. Would love to read and review these books in print format.
The setting I really like the best are the old time/victorian settings like your books.
Hope I Win
I am enjoying the book I am currently reading which takes place in 1500’s Germany, with royal families and castles. I also adore your series in 18th century North America.
My favorite settings for novels are America (aka USA) and England, so if both countries are included in the same story, it’s a bonus.
For me it’s a real close choice between England and America. I think they are both lovely settings for all genres. Thanks for the chance to win. Blessings Kathy

I really can’t choose a favorite setting. I just love it when a book transports me to where ever it’s set and I can enjoy the escape for a while.
I enjoy England and Scotland and Ireland.
I am reading the fourth book in the series and would love to win Hold me Close. Would love to visit the United Kingdom. I lived in Germany twice for 6 years and was blessed to visit that country and Paris, France.
Thank you all for commenting and entering the giveaway. I’ll randomly choose a winner Monday morning.
My favorite settings are England, anyplace in Europe, and Charleston, SC.
