Summer TBR Stack

by | Jun 2, 2022 | Uncategorized | 1 comment

I always have more leisurely reading time in the summer! I’m so thankful for my stack of books that I want to read. The first ones I’ll read are listed below. What are you reading this summer?

The Dark Heart of Florence by Tasha Alexander promises to be an exciting mystery in one of my favorite cities—Florence 1480 and 1903. A new-to-me author, Tea Cooper, takes the reader to Australia, 1906 in The Girl in the Painting involving a mystery and a painting.

Having recently read the first novel in the Regency Wallflowers by Carolyn Miller, I’m ready for book two, Midnight’s Budding Morrow, 1811 Northumberland, England. War and love and obligation. The Star-Crossed Sisters of Tuscany by Lori Spielman captured my attention because of Italy, generations through history, and the Second-Daughter Curse.

I’m going backwards with Kara Swanson’s Dust since I’ve read book two already. I look forward to more of Peter Pan’s dark story. I’ve added a classic author, Louisa M. Alcott with An Old-Fashioned Girl, one of her novels I’ve missed somehow.

Let me know what you are going to read.

Read on, my friends!

Some great reads there! (Midnight’s Budding Morrow and Dust are two I’m really looking forward to!) And An Old-Fashioned Girl!!! I almost forgot about that one! I read that when I was younger and LOVED it!🥰 Great choice!
