What a good question! It is a little weird that I had the same situation in front of me when I was eighteen. I had dated a guy in high school for three years. It was fun to always have a date and someone funny to share my time. But as my college years arrived, I realized I wanted more than an heir to a million dollars who worshipped me and not God. So, bye, bye. And who steps up late in my senior year in high school? A young man who was had received God’s calling to be a pastor. What? In a few months I had set my eyes on a totally different path. I never looked back. I still haven’t lived the lifestyle of a millionaire, but my husband and I have received so many of God’s blessings through the years. Hard choice? Not really. My decision worked out and is still working out great. The best!
