I’m leaving on a jet plane…on Monday! I’m packed and ready to go. I really had to think about the books to take with limited space with just a carryon. How wonderful ebooks and audible books are for travel. I’m stocked up for the journey to Spain.
My audio book is The Last Queen by C.W. Cortner about Juana the daughter of Queen Isabella of Spain. So excited since I will be traveling in her country!
My first ebook is Something New by Rebecca Connolly, Book Two in the Cornwall Brides. Well, I will be in Spain but I’m going to Cornwall in the fall. I’ll be prepared.
My only paperback for the trip is an old copy of Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express. I’ve never read it. So, when I want to hold a book, this is it!
Of course, while journeying I will buy some books in Spanish and enjoy the flavor of the country city by city.
What form of books do you carry when you are traveling?
Fun! You are ready! I am taking three novelettes by Melanie Cellier, an author I found recently who does fairy tale fiction. They are smaller books so I can easily carry them. I don’t do technology with books. Stuck in the old ages.
Have a great trip!
I am a kindle reader 99% of the time. I always ask for Kindle Unlimited gift subscriptions as gifts (they bring down the monthly cost of Kindle Unlimited and they don’t hurt authors. Check with Amazon to see if they still allow readers to gift themselves a a Kindle Unlimited gift subscription (6, 12, or 24 month options.). I also use the free website www,Ereaderiq.com (US and UK)and also to track Kindle titles on my watchlist for price drops so I buy Kindle title at the best sale price or even free.. If you track a lot of y titles and/or authors consider turning off your email notifications and checking your notifications on the website daily.
