Do you travel in the summer? Where do you go? Even a staycation is nice.

Since I am traveling some this summer, I think about fun destinations. I am headed to Spain this week with my daughter. That is an exciting destination—a trip promising so many memories of sights, food, history, culture. I hope to experience new adventures to hold me over for a time.

Back on state side, do you like the mountains or the beach, or big cities or small towns? I’m gain for just about anything. We have started taking family vacations to the beach with our children and grandchildren. We’ll do that in September. I love the slow, lazy pace back and forth to the beach or the pool.

My husband and I are celebrating our anniversary in the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee. A nice cabin by a river, good food, and only the two of us.

All of these places are relaxing and meaningful. But always, ALWAYS, I love coming home to my own turf with my own things and people and pets. What about you?
