I’m excited to offer a new series beginning in February 2025. Elements of Hope is a series of four novels—all stand-alone—set in four different countries. The first one is Flames of Faith taking place in Switzerland, 1870. Join Claire as she embraces her brief sojourn in Thun with a passion for making tourism available to all classes of people even with adversity knocking at every turn.

I am researching the second book in the series–Blooms of Love. The setting is in Sevilla, Spain, an amazing, enchanting town. I’ve narrowed the era to somewhere between 1720 and 1750. Research is my favorite part of the process as I glean information from ten to twenty sources. The characters begin to emerge as well as the plot. For this novel, I’m using resources that I bought this summer in Sevilla plus James A. Michener’s Iberia.
