Local Craft Fairs

Do you enjoy a local craft fair? As a child, my family went to certain community festivals where there were items of great value for all.

I’ve noticed in recent years that craft fairs and festivals are not as well attended as in the past. It seems that vendors are still being creative and innovative with their products. but the customers are not as willing to purchase the odds and ends. I miss the way it was.

I attend at least two local fairs yearly. The annual Bienville Parish Library Holiday Craft Fair is this Friday. Local authors attend and mix with the other craft tables. I enjoy meeting with the community and picking up a few Christmas gifts.

If you are in north Louisiana on Friday, drop by this special event. See you there.
