Summer Reads–July picks

by | Jul 1, 2025 | Uncategorized | 0 comments

Summer is definitely here in Louisiana. What better way to cool off than to curl up in a chair with a glass of iced tea and read a book.

Here are a few of my July reads. Give them a try!

Roses Have Thorns by Sandra Byrd is a novel about Elizabeth I in the Ladies in Waiting Series. I loved the first two. I’m ready to delve into the history and romance.

Fruitcake and Fraud by Jann Franklin takes the reader to a small contemporary Louisiana town where murder and food go hand in hand. Book #3 is sure to be a mysterious summer read.

Every Hour until Then by Gabrielle Meyer is Book 5 of Timeless. This gifted author spins a believable story about Kathryn who lives two lives—one in 1938 and the other in 1888.

What are you reading in July?
