Happy New Year 2026

Happy New Year 2026! Stepping into a brand-new year holds hope and blessings. Perhaps like me, you are bringing a few pains and problems from 2025 into January. Some things, like illnesses, will not disappear with the change of the calendar. Yet, hopes and attitudes have a new chance as they enter on a clean slate. I choose to grab hold of 2026 with a song and hope.

My word for 2026 is SING! I want to face my days with a new song. A song of praise to my Lord.

“Sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the LORD, all the earth.” PSALM 96:1

I can sing no matter my circumstances and concerns.

If you see me walking and singing, or driving and lifting up a song, do not be surprised.

Happy New Year!

Do you have a word or phrase for the year? Please share.

Blessings!

Wow! Thank you for reminding me of the new possibilities of this new year. My word at the end of 2025 was Disappointment. For 2026 you have encouraged me to be more positive. The word I chose for this year is Progress.
